JUNQUERA ARQUITECTOS

Junquera arquitectos has been, for the last 40 years developing projects in diverse fields of architecture, design and urban space.

It has recently been selected to design the City-Harbour Masterplan in Almería, the Rehabilitation of the Ortega y Marañón Foundation in Madrid and various singular housing developments.

It has developed singular works such as the City -Harbour Integration in Malaga, the Rehabilitation and Extension of La Zarzuela Hippodrome in Madrid, and projects such as the City-Harbour Integration in Arrecife , Lanzarote, Urban Plan for the Railway Integration in Gijón and Gijón New Intermodal Station.

Our work has been present in practically all the editions of the Spanish Architecture Biennial and in National and International Architecture Exhibitions and has been published in national and international architecture magazines.

We won several awards such as National Architectural Award in 1989, 1997 and 2006, Town Planning, Architecture and Public Works, Madrid City Council Awards in 1985, 1987, 1993, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2006, COAM Award (Madrid Official College of Architects) 1995, 2003, 2008 and 2012 and DOCOMOMO Rehabilitation Awards 2021.
